Precisely the question, the results are stated as independently done (which, by the way, means by someone with nothing to gain or lose by the results) with all contact information listed right there below the chart. If there was any doubt in anyone's mind the validity to the independent claim....just call them up, ask for other references, chit chat Let's say you own a shop that can do flowtesting. Joe, an unethical
businessman(assumption), owns a company that makes manifolds and wants you to
independently flow test his manifolds versus his competitors. You flow
them and find that Joe's manifold was not quite as good as the other
one. Are you going to go to Joe and say that?
If that is your job, to administer independent tests, or you were asked to compare/test impartially.....ummm, yes
Of course not! You want
repeat business, so you give Joe's manifolds an advantage so that he
gets the numbers he wants.
So basically again you are questioning the validity of the test without contacting the tester whose info you even reposted, and you do so with different testing parameters resulting in a different set of results that still indicate nothing, fantastic work. I'm sure all his business had nothing to do with being nearly 33% less expensive Joe is thrilled and will bring future products
to you for testing. I am not saying that is what happened (yes you are, man up and just admit to it), but I am saying that stuff like
that DOES happen. I didn't trust the numbers, so I did it for myself. If
you think it's silly, just ignore it.
It IS silly, and I will ignore your numbers, they are meaningless, negligible, and don't resolve or clarify anything, but I have decided not to refrain from calling you out on having ulterior motives not directly pertaining to manifolds, only because you are passing this off as some credible and warranted test offering some sort of valuable results to us the consumers. You posted it for the public, even announced you were going to post it to the public beforehand, I don't care what people think if I call you on it, as un-PC as it may be here to appear to defend AMS. So don't try to now pass this off as just some fleeting "gee whiz" idea you had because you were just so curious what the already published #'s were. You went to considerable lengths to put on this charade, it is plain to any objective person why. So when can we expect to see your "independent" tests done on other similar products? Since you are obviously so concerned with the well-being of the Z32 aftermarket consumer....When will you be testing clutches? How about the light output on HID kits? What about stabilizer bars? My guess is we won't be seeing anymore "independent tests" from you because your motives clearly had little to do manifolds and any info about them. And how do I know this? Because the ONLY useful conclusion to be drawn from the test wasn't even identified by YOU, and was certianly revealed completely by accident.

You should thank him for bailing you out with the one useful conclusion for your otherwise meaningless test. Nothing about this test has told anyone anything we didn't already know or couldn't find out with a minute or two of looking online. If they had been favorable for AMS, then AMS just bored them out a bit, if they were less then AMS just straight copied them.So what? Who cares? They aren't going away, you aren't going to convince any sensible unbiased person of anything they can't plainly see on their own. But you have ID'd yourself as a willling pet for those who have this insatiable hate for AMS and can't be contented with letting adults vote with their wallets. The best part is, this whole "test" provided ZERO ammo for them, and results in you doing nothing more than performing the role of a "fluffer" to a bunch of guys on a car forum. I've seen some thinly veiled suckup attempts during my time here, but this is epic.
